Lavender spreads its scent mainly in the Pays de Sault at the foot of Mont Ventoux, in the Pays d'Apt in the Luberon and the Valensole plateau.
Tradition has it that it is used to scent linen or bath water.
The lavender fields also give one of the most subtle honeys and you have to dare to discover it in gastronomy. In summer, farmers and distilleries open their doors to you and invite you to visits with a spellbinding scent!
